The Children's Ministry of Stone Ridge Baptist Church exists to partner with parents in helping kids become disciples of Jesus Christ who truly know and follow Him.
We cannot accomplish this mission without INVESTORS who give of their time and efforts to invest in the lives of our kids by teaching them and building relationships with them. Checkout the Investors page to learn more about these Kid's Ministry heroes.
Ridge Kids is:
Christ Centered— Before the creation of the world, God had a plan to be glorified by redeeming His people through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. Everything in the Bible points to Christ, therefore what we do at Ridge Kids points children to Christ as Lord, Savior, and Friend.
Faith Driven— We cannot see God, and we cannot earn a right relationship with God by doing good deeds. Therefore, it is by faith that we believe, and it is by faith that we are saved from our sin. True faith always produces observable fruit (works).
Word Grounded— The Bible is God’s living Word. As it is free of errors or untruths, the Bible is inerrant. The Bible feeds us, comforts us, teaches us, and disciplines us. It is to be read, meditated on, and memorized by all ages.
Relationship Oriented— Just as Jesus had a circle of friends to which He poured into, we cultivate relationships in Ridge Kids. We provide multiple opportunities for kids and leaders to fellowship together. Small Groups on Sunday morning and night, snack and game times, and events and trips are all focused on building lasting friendships.
Mission Focused— Jesus came to the earth as a servant, and He taught us how to love and serve others by meeting both physical and spiritual needs. We provide opportunities for children to live out their faith through organized mission projects, through a mini summer camp called Others First, and through our sponsorship of a child with Compassion.
